We use custom mandrel CNC technology in our pipe bending and tube bending process.
The use of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) guarantees the consistent quality of our products compared to manual methods! Fully automated and operated by a computer, a CNC tube bender achieves complex, tight-radius bends that are unmatched by manual bending. CNC also makes for an efficient and cost-effective production process, comparatively.
Using a mandrel produces a strong, quality bend with no flattening, wrinkles, or breaking at the bending point. You can be assured when you work with us that each bent product will not only have a beautiful interior and exterior appearance, but will also function with strength and uniformity.
McKiney has the ability to create piping with diameters of 2 ½”, 3”, 3 ½”, and 4”. There are not many CNC mandrel tube benders this side of the Mississippi that can bend up to 4”! These size capabilities allow us to create bent products for a variety of uses ranging from fluid or gas transporters (hydraulic lines, fuel lines, exhaust pipes, and water lines) to structural tubing (bicycle racks, furniture frames, etc).
After your custom piping is created, we create end-forms as needed for your product to be seamlessly integrated into other existing components. We have the capability to create ends by beading, expanding, flaring, mitering, threading, and more methods.
Additional fabrication services may include notching, punching, welding, coping, and drilling.
While we are based in Nebraska, we are able to easily service other areas including Rapid City, South Dakota.
Before we start your project, we have you submit your prints to us so that we can review and give you an accurate quote. We then either schedule an in-person meeting (if desired) or give you a call to discuss your quote and to get a better understanding of your company, product and/or processes.
Throughout the process, we communicate with you frequently via phone and email to ensure that we’re on the same page, and on track to meet your deadlines.
